Fixed templates

I am just testing as I am still at work and can't write a real post. ( some people work at work) This Old Soul fixed my comments, so I wanted to reload the template and see if my old comments stayed the same after doing that. Go check him out, even though he has barely begun to blog. ( I do kind of find the term blog distasteful can we make up a new name for it) He just started his blog as he too is running away from the barren wasteland that is live and dead journal. I may owe him my first born for this. And so you don't all assume I go whoring around the internet looking for people to fix my templates, I know knew him before blog land or whatever this is called.

I prefer picturing you whoring around :)

Seems like it's working to me.

I'm going to visit your friends site.

Peek-a-boo, I see you.

Anyway, congrats on fixing your format and such. ANd I figure a person's whoring is their own business.

MJ: It seems a lot of people would prefer to picture me whoring around; I have however remained steadfast in that regard.
I do not take responsibly for my friends site, he has just started it and I don't think he knows where he is going with it yet so he appears to swear a lot. I believe he is a very intelligent on many respects but not into politics.

Coyote: Yes a persons whoring is their own business, I have said it before and I will say it again........................ I actually don't think I ever said that because in general I like to hear about other people whoring around as I tend to live vicariously for now.

Yes the comment section is fixed and I am pretty pleased about it.

I am finding this being on the internet during work to be quite pleasing.

Blog is kind of a... sluggish word. But I like it. Short. Simple. Somewhat gutteral. It would make an excellent word to describe a body function.

What are you thinking, Alice? Something with more pizazz? Maybe do the Hollywood thing and revamp the old and call it new. How about this (hope this comes through; I pasted it from Word): the new word for an online journal is Bl

To the MJ person, I have been reading things she writes for over two years and I have always preferred to think of her whoring around.( the internet)

I am a little offended at you calling deadjournal a wasteland;
even though I write mainly in livejournal now for personal reasons.
I enjoyed reading your deadjournal for two years, it was entertaining and you cant tell me you didnt have fun there?
I think that you may think you started a blog to get away from posting with your friends and so no one could read what you wrote but subconsciously you just wanted a wider audience and wanted more elaborate and interesting journals to read; after all yours was almost the only one worth reading most of the time.

If you make the comment section only for the blogger I will not be able to comment so leave it as it is and just erase the trash.

Jack, the problem with blog as I see it is it brings the bathroom to mind so when you say guttural, I have to agree, and that is not a pleasant thought. Guttural when referring to sex(sounds) bring more of an earthy connotation to mind but not one I get from the word blog.(sadly)
Jake: You're like a pesky little fly but I am fond of you because you hung around even when ignored. It is a wasteland but indeed it is my wasteland and I was not meaning the term to be offensive, more of an endearment.

I really don't think I want to know what squatlinking is meant to refer to.

Understand the whole distaste for the word blog...it sounds like a sound effect you might hear coming from the bathroom as someone pays homage to the porcelin god...oh well what are you gonna do...

I don't like the word "blog" either. Many people have already hit on why, to me it sounds like something excretory.

I've been changing diapers for nearly 10 years straight right now, I've dealt with plenty of "blogs" in my day, thank you...
