The Summer is Indeed Slip Sliding Away

Everything is pretty messy right now it appears that as the summer comes to a close I feel a noose or maybe a silk tie, as I like them better, is tightening around my neck. Im not sure why I feel this way because Im happy about moving back to the city and getting out of this seemingly never ending summer. It was nice to be back in the city, if only for a couple of days; I miss the aloneness that I felt there. This is not weird it is just the way I feel when I am there, alone but not alone. I like that. Here I never feel alone in that way, here when I am alone I am truly alone and when I am not it is often because I am in the presence of people that make being alone a luxury worth paying for. I was also happy for the great sushi options. There are not that many sushi options here and the sushi is just not what it should be. Im not sure when I am moving back exactly but will be going back to the city this Friday probably and for a couple days. Much of my stuff is stored and some Im moving to my friends apartment because it is a sic apartment with an extra bedroom and four very large closets, one of which I lay claim to at least temporarily. Classes start after Labor Day. So as you are not confused as to my NYC older, drunk, rich boyfriends any longer Ive dumped both Billy Joel and Paul Simon in favor of my LA boyfriend. Daddy doesnt like him much but, as we have both been called traitors, I figure its pretty much a perfect fit. --------------------?>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us This is a bullshit post from work because I like to waste peoples time while I hae the chance.

Is anyone else confused with schools that start the week before labor day, then are closed on Labor day, making the second week of classes a four day week?

I understand that your school does not do this.

My school starts the 31st and we are off Labor Day. Foolish.

Bill Maher can have you arrested.

I'm not good for bail because I'm tapped out this month due to the move.
I often feel a noose tightening around my neck I know what you mean.

Summer's over already? Say it ain't so, sugar!

And here I was just getting used to enjoying lounging outside in the sun for hours upon end. Fairly soon, it's going to be shuttering myself away from the cold winds blowing outside.

'Tis sad, indeed.

I feel the same way when orchestras start up around here. But I like hanging out with my colleagues in them again.

Second Doug, and thanks,Cooper for ending my confusion. As you know this did weigh heavily on my mind as older NY rock stars--knowledge of--are a sub speciality

Amazing how early schools begin. It is downright un-American

Do hope that you begin posting more often now that you'll be in New York

I swear I responded to these comments this morning before I went running. So if anyone sees some strange comments in their blog its my fault. Maybe I was reading several at a time. I think I am losing my mind slowly but for sure. That or blogger sucked them out and has yet to spit them back out.

Coyote: Yea we start later.

Jake: Have fun with school and your new place. God I hope he doesn't arrest me. I kid Bill Maher.

Ruben: I sooo am addicted to sushi and real decent coffee from not so commercial coffee houses.

breasier: We can stretch it out another few weeks I think.

weirdso: orchestra .....work....naw.

MoJo: More like subway walls here but yea.

Doug: I agree we are quite a pair and thanks no one has ever wished me extraordinary maki" before.

Pia: I'm glad to take care of that little problem, I mean after you used them and spit them out do you really think I wanted the leftovers?
I think I post quite a lot as it is but in retrospect maybe not, daily is nearly impossible.

You'd never let that fugly head and promiscuous body near you cooper and you know it.

I agree she is too old for everyone, she needs to act her age.

That silk tie around the next type thing bothers me some.

You do look kind of cozy there.

I currently live just outside the city, and I do miss it alot. The thing I always feel about living in a city is exactly what u describe about being alone but not alone. I love being on my own in crowds and bustling places not so much near the countryside, or suburban towns.

Dougie Dougie: Life is an Illusion my friend.

John: fugly is one of my favorite words. I prefer fugly men anyway, pretty boys turn me off , don't worry about the tie thing.

MJ: I know you save your real thoughts for your blog, but that's ok not much real thought needed here.

coyote: I heard Bill likes threesomes but I think he would prefer a girl.
I'll ask. ;)

Wow! Great picture.

In Germany schools start at different times depending on which state your in. They do that to control the peak travel periods, but I think it's nonsense. My kid's school already started last week.

Have a safe move back into your element.

Bennett: 20 and one quarter to be exact.

Indeterminacy: Thanks. I have friends that have been back as school for a week or two and some that are not starting untl midway through September. It doesn't matter really one way or the other to me except to get it on with and over with.
Also thanks I am looking forward to getting back.

Dougie: I have all my blog people down and only Breasier gets to call me Sugar.
You can call me..........................Al.

And that concludes Paul Simon week.

this is great I have a couple more hours to kill so I guess I will go look for some erotica, haven't done that in some time.
