"I'm flesh and blood, but not human. I haven't been human for two hundred years."

A reminder of my position as celebrity guest poster at Waking Ambrose on Wednesday; I couldn't say no as Doug, on his quest for cynical interpretations of words,is as insidious and persistent as the Vampire Lestat was in his quest for aristocratic blood to feed his immortality. Seriously though you should all check it out despite me as it helps the brain cells multiply. On a scale of one to a hundred my brain was a forty-five prior to reading and participating in Waking Ambrose; I now boast a cool seventy-five and hope for eighty by the holiday. Also a quick sad ;( note to say goodbye to MJ over at Political Notio: He is cool in his entire political-ness; however, the incognito blog life ends for MJ. I will miss him but wish him the best in his new secret life as an escort extraordinaire working out of the Trump Tower. ;)

Vampires pretending to be humans, pretending to be vampires. How avant-garde!
I thank the commenter Miz Bohemia for calling me eccentric, nuts, and out- there; I have been called nothing better this week. Im surely going to check her out tomorrow after I trek my ass to class being held off campus due to graduate student strike. This could mean sitting around in professors apartment all day drinking wine; sadly it doesn't mean that, but it could... in another life, in another city ....... perhaps Paris.. no wait not Paris........Paris is burning. Serves them right I say. I digress. Absurdity Jam I posted so you must to read it. Also Wombat needs some suggestions as to how to format the site so go help him out I am not a site format kind of girl and am as useless in regard to that stuff as I am at being the good girlfriend.
Claudia , you have been a very bad girl.
I have no deep philosophical musings at this time. Well actually I do but as it is almost three and I try to get to bed before three, and I still have some vague conceptualized pictures to take care of as well and an essay of sorts to rewrite; I will leave you with some thoughts from the hotter vampire; the one from France ...go figure.
The world changes, we do not, there lies the irony that finally kills us.

Alice, your brain was a 91 when I met you. It probably is a 75 now.

Sad about MJ, did (s)he get a life?

And yes, aristocratic blood is the yummiest and no woman can resist my floppy ears.

Get some sleep girl! Watch out for those with the dark gift.

The movie was cool, but I am a fan of the books. Nothing better than the very entertaining Mrs.Rice.

I imagine your brain cells work pretty well. I'll check it all out and yes politcal notio will be missed although I don't remember him mentioning anything about being an escort at Trump Tower.
Taking an idea and going with it.

That was a great movie, I am rather partial to the ending.

I'm afraid I am the one who drug your brain down below 50. But, its what I do best, so I'm not that sorry. If one has a talent, one is obliged to use it.

If this is a competition I think we win. We dragged her brain down a long time ago in past lives, when she was a we lass of fourteen. She fought it all the way and I think victory is hers.
is as insidious and persistent as the Vampire Lestat was in his quest for aristocratic blood to feed his immortality.
Mind of I use this? It's cherry and I am taking one of those random but necessary writing electives in order to fulfill my obligations to the useless to me" club.

Hey the Trump Tower sounds pretty cool, I so wish it were true.

Thanks for the highlight. I'm sure I won't be a stranger to this place.

Changing the world is easier than changing yourself.

You seem to be a very...very...busy girl these days and still you're able to write such witty posts.

BTW, please read my comment on http://successful-blog.com/1/21-ellen-talks-about-success/
Although I didn't mention your name, I just wanted you to know that you're one of the people I'm talking about.

A HEARTfelt Thanks!

Hey Alice!

I am glad you took it for the compliment I meant it to be!

In this world where normal wreaks havoc on our planet, where the innocent are blatantly made to suffer and it is fine with the powers-that-be, where things like Bush (shudder.... it is hard for me to even write the name) hold power.... and on and on it goes.... basically, in this world where normal is nuts, calling you what I did was to say you rock...

It is nice to stumble upon kindred spirits in life. Thank you for popping in to my place. Glad you liked it.

Keep writing, keep shouting, keep fighting and most of all keep caring and...

please stay nuts! ;-)

Looking forward to tomorrow. . . .
Checked out "Absurdity Jam." I represent those remarks (not really; I was never a rallier). I just want to say, though, that in my Southern college town the biggest partiers at the polls last Presidential election were large morons about your age but of the opposite gender, driving pickups.
Bring back the draft! Red states first!

Doug: I am so with you on the floppy ears. MJ got a life, yes sadly how dare he.

Girl: It was 3 AM but that is ok. Lol

Cruise is definitely a much better vampire than faux lover to that chick I have never heard of.

Finn: I felt an odd presence and now I know why.

Leigh: I loved that book and yes the books are most always better. I am always on the lookout for those with the
dark gift hence the weird congregation in the comment section of this blog.;)

Bizman: the trump tower thing was a secret; I'm not good with secrets.
Yes, the end, the song and the words...

Coyote: It's possible - it's those quizzes.

robotman: you win

Zenpro: I don't know.....three AM is good for me.

protagoras: Obvious or oblivious?
They do suck though.

MJ: Better not be a stranger.

Taorist: I'm not that nice, if your stuff wasn't worth reading I simple wouldn't read it...no worries- you write- I read- the end

Mizzy B: Indeed, I'll be back to check out your whole place when I am done with a week of academically necessary endeavors.

Weirdso: Which is why I go to school in a blue state....not that there is no moronic activity among twenty year old males here it just does not usually occur in a pick - up truck so one is less likely to get run over.

A lot of talk of the vampires tonight you speak. It must be one of those twilight kind of nights.

Those books were forever spoiled when Claudia had to die.

wait did I miss the competition for Alice's brain? Like to think that I played some part in distorting it

Vampires can be good; nah not going to publicly give advice on how to survive as a mortal while...

Good God, now vampires!

This could mean sitting around in professors apartment all day drinking wine; sadly it doesn't

No, that only happens here at this bastion of the liberal and immoral.( NOT IMMORTAL)

My favorite quote from Interview:

Evil is a point of view. God kills indiscriminately and so shall we. For no creatures under God are as we are, none so like him as ourselves.

Take care sweet girl; Im out for a few days.

Jesus you have a great site! I wish I had checked it out sooner. I am finding daily that all the links to Girl on a Blog's site are wonderful and mine is the only total loser site, but thats ok. Atleast everyone else gives me something to talk about. I adore Anne Rice novels-the only books I have voluntarily read since high school, and I loved the movie. Try as I may I could not come up with a quote as cool as everyone else's who posted and I had to go to the DVD. How sad is that-I must have seen this movie 60 times but my memory fails me...So far I like John M's quote the most "Evil is a point of view. God kills indiscriminately and so shall we. For no creatures under God are as we are, none so like him as ourselves". I guess mine will be the following (since I took the time to watch the movie during this slowest post ever)
"I saw my last sunrise. I remember it completely and yet I can't recall any sunrise before it. I watched the whole magnificance of the dawn for the last time as if it were the first and then I said farewell to the sunlight and set out to become what I became." I remembered it was my fav once I saw it again-reminds me of a time I was on LSD and listened to "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles while I watched the sunrise-it was perfect.

Chris: Thanks. I have cool as shit commenters that always make things interesting.

Rexy babe, where have ya been? Honestly, you do not want to know how fast my mind works it absolutely painful.
